Our school
The Brit-Magyar school is a private foundation school which opened in September 2020 in Budapest. The school leadership team and founders are both British and Hungarian with extensive experience in international education. Our vision is to be Hungary’s leading elementary and middle school through a passion for progressive teaching methodology and by providing a broad-based education so students become complete global citizens. We utilise a combination of the Hungarian state bilingual curriculum and we are Hungary’s second bilingual school to be accredited to use the Cambridge International programme for our English curriculum. Our curriculum is supported by all the best learning materials and facilities.
Our staff
At the core of our programme is the need to have enthused and talented teaching staff who are committed to our vision. We have strong in-house professional development for teachers running throughout the year, with one-to-one coaching and group learning. Teachers can help shape and develop our curriculum, teaching methodologies and best educational practices. Our culture is very consensual, and we make decisions and plans through discussion.
The Position
We are looking to employ fully qualified Primary teachers to join our team, to support the growth of our student base. A teacher with the following experience, skills and attributes is preferred:
– Teaching qualification essential
– High level of positive energy and a strong desire for personal development essential
– Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Grade 1 to 4 students preferred
– Experience of teaching to HSL students preferred
– Experience teaching in an international setting preferred
– Ability to understand English preferred
