Position: KS3 English Language Teacher. Experience in delivering Digital Culture would be beneficial.

Our school
The Brit-Magyar school is a private foundation school which opened in September 2020 in Budapest. We are a bilingual school running an English Hungarian programme. The school leadership team and founders are both British and Hungarian with extensive experience in international education. Our vision is to be Hungary’s leading Primary and Middle school through a passion for progressive teaching methodology and by providing a broad-based education to facilitate our students becoming complete global citizens.. We utilise a combination of the Hungarian state bilingual curriculum and we are Hungary’s second bilingual school to be accredited to use the Cambridge International programme for our English curriculum. Our curriculum is supported by all the best learning materials and facilities. 

Our staff

The Position
We are looking to employ a fully qualified English Language Teacher to teach Year 7 Literacy (Grade  6) and preferably Digital Culture from Grade 3. A teacher with the following experience, skills and attributes is required:

• Teaching qualification essential
• Experience teaching Secondary level English Literature essential
• High level of positive energy and a strong desire for personal development essential
• Experience teaching Primary English Literature preferred
• Experience teaching Digital Culture preferred
• Experience of teaching to EAL students preferred
• Experience teaching in an international setting preferred
