At the Brit-Magyar Bilingual School, our education is firmly rooted in the Hungarian National Curriculum (NAT), ensuring full immersion for our students. This foundation is thoughtfully enriched with carefully selected international materials that broaden their learning experience
Of course, the sooner the better, since children learn most by playing on an activity-based basis, their brains absorb information at multiple times the speed of an adult. At an early age, children do not learn a language but rather acquire it but developing intuitively through activities that develop mastery of the phonological base of a language. In addition to children’s instinct to learn languages without inhibitions or anxiety, which also helps to learn additional languages easily at a later stage.
No. Children who learn and speak an additional language in addition to the mother tongue are have enhanced learning abilities compared to their monolingual contemporaries. Language learning also promotes creativity, flexible thinking and contributes greatly to problem-solving ability.
