Today we celebrated St Nicholas Day at Brit-Magyar! We began our day all together as our grade 8 students led an assembly on the history of the day and led the school in singing traditional Hungarian songs for the Christmas season. Students then returned to classrooms and were on the lookout for a very special visitor to school. Santa Claus was able to come in all the way from the North Pole and help our students beginning the festive season with gifts and chocolate. A day filled with memories for all our students (and adults too!). An extra thank you to Santa for making the long journey to visit us all!
