When, how, and why did you choose the teaching profession?
I have been teaching for six years now, and began as a Teaching Assistant after university. I have always loved working with children, and watching them grow across the school year is a privilege.

What does an ideal lesson look like for you?
An ideal lesson for me includes full class engagement with the topic and making strong progress. They will leave the lesson knowing something new whilst having fun.
What is the most important thing you’d like to pass on to your students?
To be kind to others and to understand their own emotions – big or small – and how to manage them.
How do you motivate students to learn?
By providing a variety of ways to meet each learning objective to suit the different learning styles within my classroom.
What do you love most about teaching?
I love being creative through my teaching practice, and that no two days are the same!
