How, when and why did you choose the teaching profession?
At the age of 18, on the suggestion of a family member who remarked that I had a natural way with children, I began to consider whether I should try my hand at teaching. I went to the entrance exam, and the rest is history.
Why did you choose the Brit–Magyar School?
I found the school’s values very appealing and was drawn to the international environment. I wanted to try myself in this new and inspiring setting as well.
What does an ideal lesson look like for you?
Playful and activity-based, where children feel comfortable, learn through play, and enjoy working together.
What would you most like to pass on to your students?
That it is okay to make mistakes, to learn from them, and to try again. I would like to teach them how to connect with their emotions and express them appropriately.
How do you motivate children to learn?
Through games, humour, and lots of conversation.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
Working together with children.
