Meet Our Teacher
When, how, and why did you choose the teaching profession?
Since I can remember, I have always wanted to become a teacher. One of my earliest memories is from first grade, when for Career Day I chose “first-grade teacher” as my future profession. I have always been passionate about education and about helping others learn and grow. During my own school years, I realized how much of a difference a supportive and inspiring teacher can make in a student’s life. Becoming a teacher was my way of creating that same positive impact and fostering confidence and a love for learning in my students.
Why did you choose the Brit-Magyar School?
I chose the Brit-Magyar School because its values align closely with my own approach to teaching. I appreciate how the school focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and a supportive learning environment. I also value its multicultural community, which helps broaden perspectives and encourage understanding. I believe bilingual education is essential — developing strong skills in both languages not only strengthens communication but also builds confidence.
What does an ideal lesson look like for you?
An ideal lesson for me is engaging, interactive, and student-centered. I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and leaving each lesson motivated and eager for the next one.
What is the most important thing you’d like to pass on to your students?
The most important thing I want to pass on to my students is a love of learning and the belief that they can achieve anything they set their mind to with effort and persistence. I also hope to instill respect, kindness, and empathy — qualities that go beyond the classroom and help them succeed in life.
How do you motivate students to learn?
I motivate students by making my lessons creative and giving them an active role in their learning. I encourage them to make mistakes and to view them as part of the learning process. I celebrate progress — no matter how small — and build a positive, supportive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to participate.
What do you love most about teaching?
What I love most about teaching is seeing students grow and make progress. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them gain confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding English. I love being part of a positive, encouraging atmosphere where students feel happy, motivated, and excited to come to school.
