On Wednesday, the 5th grade visited the Museum of Fine Arts, where we explored the exhibition titled The Realm of Gods and Demons.
The exhibition offered a fascinating insight into the world of Mesopotamia, showcasing artifacts from the Neo-Assyrian and Neo-Babylonian Empires, such as the decorations of the Ishtar Gate, sculptures depicting the demon world, and cylinder seals. The exhibit concluded with an exploration of the biblical Tower of Babel and its artistic interpretations, connecting ancient artifacts with the worlds of painting, graphic arts, and pop culture.
