We are all looking forward to welcoming you back to school after the summer. We have been busy preparing our wonderful new classrooms, playgrounds, and learning spaces for students and welcoming our newest faculty members to the team here at Brit-Magyar. We have also welcomed back a familiar face, Joanna Moore has returned to our faculty after previously working here two years ago!
Meet the Teacher Night
Our Meet The Teacher Night will be on Thursday 5 September at 16:30-18:30. Please join us for a quick introduction to the evening in the foyer at 16:30 and then enjoy meeting your child’s new teachers and seeing the classrooms for the remainder of the time.

The Ski Week holiday is shorter this year and we understand that it is an important time for families to spend together. If you have plans for this week and require leave approval, please contact me and I will provide permission.
1st Day of School
Our first day of school for all students is Monday 2 September, 2024! Please aim to arrive between 08:15 – 08:30 and make your way up to the classrooms. Teachers will be on hand to help direct students to their new classrooms. We will end at the normal time of 3pm, there will be no after school program for the first two weeks of school.

New Gates for Brit-Magyar
To provide quicker access to our school we will now only use the two entrances on the front of the building and the gate on Budenz street. This means we will no longer be able to use the gate entrance near the tennis courts.
On a personal note, I am excited to start in my new role here at Brit-Magyar! On a personal note, I am excited to start in my new role here at Brit-Magyar! I look forward to learning about the school culture, the teaching and learning taking place, and being a part of this wonderful community in the years ahead. An important part of that will be getting to know parents and families. Once the school year is up and running, I will be communicating times for opportunities for parents to meet with me in small groups. I have an open door policy and outside of these times, if you would like to meet with me for any reason, please don’t hesitate to reach out and arrange a time.
These are exciting times for Brit-Magyar with our continued growth, I look forward to getting to know you all and having a fantastic year ahead!
