Choosing a school is a commitment for many, many years and is a long term investment in our children’s future. However, in the current situation, investing in the future and investing in the education of children has become uncertain and difficult to plan.
The current virus crisis has brought with it many challenges and difficulties that have changed our priorities, patterns of behavior, family expectations, social interactions and how we finance our lives. The unpredictability and negative headwinds in the economy affect the financial outlook for families.
Recognizing the difficulties of this situation, we have decided to make a contribution to alleviate the burden on families who consider to choose our school. That is why we are offering a new reduced tuition contribution for families registering before September 1, 2020.
The founders of the Brit-Magyar School have decided to reduce the amount of tuition contributions by one third for the 2020/2021 school year. This means that we have reduced the total first year fee by more than 30% to a monthly fee of HUF 135,000, which must be paid during the 10-month school year. We also understand that parents want to make a long-term commitment to school, so we have gone one step further and can now offer a 15% discount at 170,000 HUF / month for the second year of school from September 2021. We offer this to all Founding Families that enroll to Brit-Magyar before 1 September 2020.
All staff and teachers of the British-Hungarian School share the journey in developing children in close co-operation with their parents. It’s a partnership based on mutual trust, so we believe that the future of our children must not depend on temporary financial obstacles. We hope that we can support families with this financial support, we hope that more Founding Families will apply to the Brit-Magyar School, which starts in September 2020.
