We can finish this week with a lot of good news: Not only is the renovation work of our school is progressing at a great pace, but our application for an operating license is also complete, which means that the final step of gaining our license has started!
During the renovation work of our the school, our future classrooms have undergone a major change in recent weeks. The floor was leveled and a layer of concrete was placed on it. This is covered by a wooden foundation and then finally a special plastic cover developed specifically for schools.
The construction of the electrical network and the work on the internal partition walls are also nearing completion. One of this year’s new regulations requires hand washing facilities in every classroom. In order to provide the optimal infrastructure for this, plumbing was installed under the floor.
On entering the future classrooms it is great to see so much natural light in the interior space. We are already excited that the children will benefit from such a bright area with so much light filtering through the windows! Light and fresh air will not only be possible within the walls of the school, but we have also a lovely courtyard! We have already signed up the playground design company, from whom we will soon receive the concept plans for our new playground area.
